Dorchester Chiropractor Dr. Daniel Babai

“I did not know much about chiropractic at all before I was first exposed to it while touring the beautiful campus of the New York Chiropractic College, but ever since I decided to choose this line of work, it has proven to be one of the best decisions I’ve ever made”.

For me, I was very lucky to have looked into chiropractic upon graduating from college. I have always wanted to help others, but I was not always sure exactly how I would do this. Once I started learning more about what chiropractic was all about, I realized it fit my interests very well. Graduate school was a great experience for me from day one, and I have never looked back since.

A Chiropractic Education

I studied chiropractic at the New York Chiropractic College in Seneca Falls, NY. Two things attracted me to the school once I had really started leaning towards wanting to study chiropractic—still being close to home and my friends and family in New England, and feeling sincerely welcomed and wanted by the administration. While the first couple of semesters at NYCC proved to be the most difficult, I always felt up to the challenge and looked forward to learning more. By far, the most life-changing experience I gained from being at NYCC was meeting so many amazing people I am lucky enough to call life-long friends. I know that they are going to be great doctors as well!

Our Philosophy for Your Chiropractic Care

I strive to provide caring, patient-focused, and evidence-based care in order to help patients reach and maintain an optimal level of health and wellness. There might not be any moment better for a doctor than to have a patient say they are feeling better and express gratitude for their care. Every time I see a patient get better, it is just another reminder of how lucky I am to have this opportunity to help others.

On a Personal Note…

I was born in Boston, MA and raised just a short train ride away from the heart of New England. When I’m not in the office, I love following New England sports teams, spending time with my friends and family, listening to music, and even playing some of my own on the piano. I would also be remiss if I did not mention that I am currently a writer and editor for the health-entertainment and informative website, www.myfatfact.com.

I love being treated with chiropractic care as well, preferably every week or two weeks! It is a pretty physical job that requires a good amount of endurance, so getting adjusted definitely helps to keep me moving well and feeling pain-free. I try to stay healthy by eating a lot of natural foods and doing some weight-lifting at a gym or at home. Some of the knowledge I’ve gained from school and research I do for www.myfatfact.com has also rubbed off onto some of my friends and family, which is definitely great to see. When it comes to over-the-counter medications, I think not having to take them is better than having to, but I understand that for many people, it is a necessity at times. The best thing to do in the end though is to find a way to live a healthy lifestyle by eating healthy and staying active, which will limit those trips to the pharmacy or medicine cabinet!
